read job 40:15-24, notice how the behemoth is supposed to have a tail like a cedar, but the footnotes of your bible probably says it is a hippo or an elephant.
have you ever seen a cedar tree?
those things are enormous!
and have you ever seen a hippo or elephant's tail?
they are not so big.
if you Google sauropod you'll see how much the dinosaur has in common with the behemoth.
then look up job 41, the leviathan is supposed to be a crocodile, but how come it says that
'verse 18;his snorting throws out flashes of light,
his eyes are like rays of dawn.
verse 19; firebrands stream from his mouth;
sparks of fire shoot out
verse 20; smoke pours from his nostrils,
as from a boiling over a fire of reeds.'
and so on, then it says how he is so great that swords and spears have no effect on him and nobody dares approach him.
this surely could not be a crocodile, they have no fire and are often captured by natives in other countries.
this sounds like a fire breathing dinosaur,
and the tales of dragons probably come from this creature.
Some things about me. . .
- Elanor Willow
- I delight in tales of old. I am prone to severe cases of scriptitation. I revel in playing music, the feel of my fingers rippling down the keys of ruel, creating lilting melodies. Petrichor is my favorite smell. I am a dreamer, a poet, a star-gazer a shaper of words and thoughts and pictures. Errantry is my trade. Drifting between dreamt up lands conceived in childhood and this world, I weave logic and creativity, reality and dreams. But most importantly I am bound by love and life-bondage to my Master, the one who created me and gave me the power to create. The one who saved me by his blood. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
