I am currently working on a story entitled The Adventures of the Tenacious Trio, for lack of a better name. It has much to do with space and aliens, I'm afraid, though I do not know why. Perhaps it was for lack of a better plan. Whenever I feel like riding a motorcycle into a shark I just automatically put in aliens and space ships, though they tend to be the less popular ones. . .I wonder why. . .anyhow, there's the link to the blog where I am posting it as I go along, so feel free to read it and tell me what you think!
Some things about me. . .
- Elanor Willow
- I delight in tales of old. I am prone to severe cases of scriptitation. I revel in playing music, the feel of my fingers rippling down the keys of ruel, creating lilting melodies. Petrichor is my favorite smell. I am a dreamer, a poet, a star-gazer a shaper of words and thoughts and pictures. Errantry is my trade. Drifting between dreamt up lands conceived in childhood and this world, I weave logic and creativity, reality and dreams. But most importantly I am bound by love and life-bondage to my Master, the one who created me and gave me the power to create. The one who saved me by his blood. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

The Phantom of The Opera is there, inside my mind. . .

Tyler did let me watch her phantom of the opera movie. Actually, we watched it right when I got to there house, at about 9:30. I loved it!
And of course I went around singing it all day long while I was there. That pretty much drove them all crazy. The funny thing was that they would start singing it, and then stop and tell me it was my fault.
I still am going around singing it. I think I'll buy the music to it! I can't get it out of my head. Thus the above title.
05 July 2009
I AM RUNNING AWAY and my parents are helping me
Well, either that or "My parents are sending me off," which sounds nowhere as much as exciting as the above title.
My cousin Tanner is over, and on Wednesday my parents are taking him and me to CA. Or at least halfway, I think my Aunt'll pick us up in Yuma. I guess I'm going so I can go to a few of the World View classes.
I do not know how I will survive, Tanner and I have nearly killed each other already.
This morning I smashed him with a couch pillow, so he piled them all on top of me and sat on it. This is not very fun for someone with claustrophobia, I assure you. And then we came to the computer room, and listened to my play list, singing and doing air guitar. Of course, most of them aren't quite the rock'n'roll type.
Tanner told me that he's going to have his parents lock up the piano, and put a curfew on singing. That kid has no appreciation for music!!! I demand rights for music!! Right now I'm singing along with "Wishing you could somehow be here again." I am so weak for new songs. Especially ones I can sing! Not that I sing well. Yay!! Tyler has the phantom of the opera movie, maybe she'll let me watch it!
Haha, Tanner just told me he figured out the tune on the piano. Or, part of it. The chorus. Just 2 days of this song, and my family's already sick of it! bother, these people just don't appreciate music.
Before I leave, I hope I can get to a store and buy a tumult of new notebooks, in fact, I think I'll ask now. Hold please. . . . . .Dad says he doesn't know. I hope we go up the mountain today, that would be fun. . .sorry, random thought. Or was it?
dun da dun, Tanner wants to know whom I'm writing too. . .now he says I'm retarded because I said he has no appreciation for music.
For some reason, I am beginning to talk like a pirate, it always happens when I write stories. I keep adding "Ayes," "Yes" and "what in the bloomin' bloody seas" into my speech. My friends mock my speech. Last book I wrote I went around with the old English speech, thees, thous, art, etc. . .
Then there was that one time when I went around with an English accent and Victorian speech. Or when I talked like an English street sweeper. The gang says I'd be a good actor. Not a gang gang, the old fashioned use of the word gang, like a group of pals just hanging. That kind of gang.
My story with the pirates in it is going well, i must admit; it's probably the best "bit" of work I've ever done. It's already pushing 36,000 words and I've only written half of it. Currently, the princesses(who has been locked up in the castle for 14 years)tutor disappeared, leaving her a note telling her to abandon the only place she has ever none as her home. Or so she thought. . .as it turns out, she's really the daughter of our(the gang and I)friend(we were zapped to Nor Tia.) But you'll just have to read it when I'm done.
There, now I've blogged a mass of completely irrelevant thing to the title, and I've said my say, and I'll bid ye adieu!

This was a really good book. It inspired and helped me a whole lot to be a writer when I was younger. I recommend it to any young author. I have also used this book to help at my writing and art club with children as young as seven with great success.

The end of the world?
Today my pastor talked about the end of the world, he talked about Matthew 24:4-14 where Jesus mentioned 7 signs about the end of the world. Look it up for yourself. Here is a video he shared with us about what the Mayan Indians believed. Please keep in mind the earth is only around 6,000 years old while watching this video. Oh, yeah, and he said the Jews beleived the world would only last 6,000 years.

My Writing club
So I started my own writing and art club, my friends and I get together once a week and we write, draw, crochet, we even did free running once because my friend insisted it was an art. Her sister on the other hand insisted no self respecting artist would run, jump, and try to touch the lighting.
Each week after the meeting we go to skate country and hang out. My friend Lexie is having her 13th birthday there. We always joke about her being the youngest one of us and shes the one with the wacky new modern ideas.
Actually there are two people younger than her, but they are still underneath the "old" people influence.
Our website, which isn't quite done yet you can view here.

Tinker Bell
Hooray!! the Tinker bell movie is out, or almost!
yesterday I went on the Disney fairies website where you can create your own faerie. it's pretty cool, it's all computer animation so it moves around like they are real. you can name it dress it, yada, yada, yada.
I hope the movie is good, but it will not go at all with j.m. Barrie's book: peter pan.
Tinker Bell was actually a bratty little faerie, and a very non special regular tinker.
But, whatever.

what in this world is Nortia?
It's not in this world.
for all you people who really want to know what language I am speaking and what I always talk about here is a story for you.
11yr old Princess Larette sat chewing her pencil.
The Empress Ella was asking all young princes and princesses to write stories, poems, and songs for the Nortia story contest.
Larette picked up the piece of paper on her desk and threw it at the door just as her father came in.
“Ahem! Oh my Larette! I say!” the King exclaimed in surprise.
“Oh, sorry father, um, I mean your Majesty. I've been a bit frustrated lately.” sighed Larette.
King Horatio Bartholomew frowned.
“Frustrated my dear? How could that be? You have everything you could possibly want!”
“No, I don't mean like that.”
“Then 'like' what my dear?”
“The Nortia contest, I need a story for it.”
The King scratched his beard and said thoughtfully:
“Hmm, perhaps you could make a story about Nortia, it is the Nortian story contest.”
Larette rolled her eyes, but the King didn't see her.
“Father, We all live here-everyone knows about Nortia.”
“But there are other worlds that don't, like earth and-”
The king didn't get a chance to finish, Larette had jumped up and hugged him.
“That's a wonderful idea!” she said.
Larette grabbed her pencil and paper and raced down the palace stairs and into the garden.
She dropped down on a flower bed and her fairy friend Glimmer came to sit on her shoulder.
Larette began to write:
Nortia is where I live, there is many countries and shimmering seas.
Nortia is located in the heart of the north star, for that is what Nortia means. Here we speak many different languages, but finuan is the number one. Sailors speak English, but finuan is much better.
Here animals talk, dragons are friendly, dinosaurs are common, fairies aren't forever hidden to humans, elves play with children, and there is Glorious.
Glorious is a menagerie of music, singing and dancing. We have flutes and tubaretteis and harps.
Then there is singing, everything sings, Fairies, Elves, Dwarves, Sea, and Rain.
On earth it is very hard to hear them, but they are there.
In Nortia our light comes from the outer star, and once we had no night.
It was not until 9,500 nortian years ago a giant dragon named Nageela was sentenced to fly around the earth forever carrying Bua-the night on his tail till the end of time.
Is there any water lilies on earth? I hope so, I love to go boating in them on warm days.
Here, they are called Vastar Anaileas.
Everyday I sing the Nortian anthem, it goes like this:
Nortia, Nortia-a, Nortia-a-a!
Oh tell me where is my home?
My ho-o-o-ome is here!
From Komo Sye and Vastar and Renon
Nortia
No-ortia
My home!
Nortia is the name of our planet and country, and there is 17 other countries.
I live in the province of Floran, each province has a King or Queen. Nortia has had an Empress rule for the 6,050 years, and most are from earth. Ella was. She is a very new Empress, she has only ruled for 50yrs out of her 1,000.
My mother Anileda is always insisting on my getting a horse, but I keep telling her I'd rather ride Kaisha my mountain lion. He was named after the province he came from. Its very hot there, with wild horses, tall mountains, and cacti.
My favorite places are Dancing Isles, Pupia(Poy-pay-uh) shoals, Mevi, and Nanray .
Dancing isles has four islands resembling dancing princesses, they called Sani, Prencelaia, Coden, and Daerelsia.
Dancing princesses are the most talented, beautiful maidens from all over the world, and they have winged horses.
Sometimes I wish to be one, my aunt was once was.
Then there is Pupia(Poy-pay-uh) shoals, another island.
There you can ride down rainbow waterfalls without getting hurt, and water fairies and dolphins swarm there.
In Mevi there is a place called Parly castle. On one side of it they grow candies!
And the other side is a scrumptious bakery, my favorite food there is Ella's sweet bread loves, I have made it before.
In Nortia it is not uncommon for a princess to help make die, or to help the cook.
But of course they are never forced to do it.
You know, there is only one type of bird, beast, and fish we can eat, all in the etemallia group.
Everything else we grow or bake.
I call Nanray the Windilas city, for there is much beautiful singing wind! I have heard Windilas is in earth too.
Windilas is what you would call wind, but it is really the great elders singing, dancing, and blowing!
If you really listen you can hear their music.
Sometimes they get angry and cause hurricanes and such.
Down south there was a huge 100s of years ago that knocked the province Medolaidia into space. The Empress is currently trying to retrieve it. In it's place is an opening to outer space, it's hard to explain. It's well, but simply named, space city.
Some day I shall travel underneath the world to see the mermaid city.
Larette set down her pencil.
“How does it sound?”
“Yit yith vely nithe,” Glimmer answered in fairy language.
“Thank you.”
Larette lay back and fell asleep in the warm light.
Glimmer knew she was dreaming of what to write next.

our new church building
On Saturdays we go to a little Messianic church called beth sar shalom that is just around the block from us; that has 2 classrooms 2 offices and a sanctuary all crammed into a little building.
There is also a church that meets there on Sunday called book of life.
for a while they have been looking for a new church building without any luck.
But somehow, I don't know how, Palo Verde baptist church has decided to merge with book of life and beth sar shalom will meet there also.
the church has a huge sanctuary with a balcony and a baptism place and two little waiting rooms, a dressing room for plays, an attic, and a grand piano. there is about 20 classrooms in two separate buildings.
2 real
trees, 6 swings, 2 playgrounds, a nursery, a soccer field, another field, a indoor basketball court, a youth group room, real grass, a kids room, and several offices.
so:
who's coming to church with us Saturday?
